"Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it." (1 Thess. 5:24)
Many people use the phrase, "Won't He do it?" and some of them don't even know the promise that according to the verse in 1 Thessalonians 5:24, the answer is - Yes, absolutely He will.
He said He would, that not only is He able, but He is also willing. He is willing to do what we need and even what we simply desire when we delight ourselves in Him, when we follow after Him, when we commit our ways to Him.
He said in John 15:16, "You didn't choose me, I chose you and because I did, you can ask me what you will" and not, I might give it to you, I'll consider your request, but He said, "And I will give it to you."
(Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.)
And so, even when we can't see it happening, when we can't feel it, when we don't know it for certain, and it may not seem like it, that's when our mustard seed sized faith has to kick in to let us know that if He said it, He will surely do it.
He's not a man that He can lie - it's simply not in Him. He's not slack concerning a single one of His promises, but they are still yea and amen.
He said, "Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you." (Mt. 7:7)
So, now the question begs - Won't He do it? Won't He provide it? He said He would supply our every need according to His riches in glory (Phil. 4:19).
Won't He make a way? His word says, He is able to straighten the crooked places (Lk. 3:5).
Won't He bless you? He said, not only what you ask, but He'll do more than you thought or imagined (Eph. 3:20)
Won't He keep you? He promised, I will keep you in perfect peace if you keep Me in your thoughts and on your mind (Is 26:3).
Won't He be there? He said, I will be with you always. I won't leave you, I'll never forsake you.
He will do anything, everything - but fail.
Won't He Will? And the answer is Yes, He will!!!
